Polypropylene Geomembrane

Reinforced polypropylene geomembrane is an exceptionally flexible material used in both buried and exposed applications. In addition to its long history in the floating cover market, it has found wide acceptance in many potable water, pond, canal, landfill, and mine tailings applications. Its dense reinforcing scrim gives it exceptional puncture resistance and dimensional stability. This is particularly important on sloped subgrades where an unreinforced material can thermally expand and contract due to heating from the sun. In many instances these thermal effects will cause the unreinforced membrane to move down the slope creating folds at its base.

Polypropylene geomembranes lend themselves well to being fabricated from rollgoods to large panels for ease of deployment in the field.
