EPDM Geomembrane

EPDM Geomembrane has been around for over 40 years. As one of the very best UV-resistant and flexible geomembranes available anywhere, it has been placed in many containment and single-ply roofing applications that total several billions of square feet over the years. EPDM is the preferred material for residential ponds and has had tremendous success in canal and reservoir lining applications as well. Specific grades are fish-friendly and, as such, have been used extensively in aquaculture pond applications.

Since EPDM is a synthetic rubber material, it can easily conform to uneven subgrades including those with smooth stones. Puncture resistance testing using truncated cones has shown that 45-mil EPDM has similar puncture resistance to 80-mil LLDPE.
